NEW YORK, NEW YORK – The Corux Group, LLC is launching Kabiela (http://Kabiela.com), the first group buying and daily deals site catering specifically to the automotive enthusiast niche market.

Much like Groupon or LivingSocial, Kabiela harnesses the power of social networks to negotiate deals with partner merchants at significant discounts to the buyer.  However, unlike other daily deal sites, Kabiela is not location-based, but interest-based on a targeted niche market.  As a form of advertising and marketing to acquire new customers with no upfront cost or risk to the merchant, Kabiela will revolutionize the automotive parts and services industry.

Small businesses in the automotive aftermarket will particularly benefit from Kabiela’s services as they will be able to reach new customers that they otherwise wouldn’t have the scale, resources, or advertising budget to reach.  Kabiela seeks to support these small businesses that are vital to the automotive enthusiast community and to the larger US economy.

The word “Kabiela” is a phonetic combination of “car” and “biela” (which is Spanish for “connecting rod,” an engine part).  The name was inspired by a historical café in Buenos Aires, Argentina called “La Biela” where multi-time record-holding Formula One champion Juan Manuel Fangio and the motorsports community socialized.

WheelData.net, the largest database of automotive wheel weights and specs on the internet, has launched today.

The database is constantly growing and being updated, but it currently has information for 4505 wheels.  It is free to use and depends on the contributions of the automotive enthusiasts community to keep the database current and comprehensive.
 
 
We have finalized our logos, colors, and website design and currently coding and building out the site.

findmint, the online classified ads website for mint, premium condition (TM) vehicles, will be launching in July of 2011.  It is currently in the beta testing phase and working out some last-minute bugs and usability tweaks and should be ready for a launch in late summer.

As part of the launch, users will be able to post classified ads for free for a limited time.  It is always free to browse the ads and contact sellers.
